What Goes on
Sunday Services
10.00- 10.45am Communion Service
11.00-12.00 Celebration Service
We have 2 services on a Sunday morning, held at Emmanuel College, Gateshead. Our communion service starts at 10am, where we share in the bread and wine and share a prayerful thought for the day.
Our 11am service is an exciting time of music, teaching, drama and personal testimony of how God makes a real difference in our lives.
Every service is followed by a time to catch up with new and old friends over a cup of tea or coffee. We also stay for lunch on the third Sunday of every month after our ‘guest service’.
During the teaching part of our service, we unpack the bible and see how God’s word can apply to us in our lives today.
All ages are welcome, a crèche is provided for pre-school children and we have a full and varied youth programme for under 18’s who have their own activities after we enjoy worshipping together.
During our worship time we sing a varied range of songs, both classic and contemporary with a range of different musical styles and instruments, lead by guitars, keyboard, drums, violin, mandolin, saxophone, and clarinet.
We also have lots of other activities going on during the week such as Housegroups, youth clubs, men’s group, women’s group, soul@café, over 60’s group, plus lots of organised special events. Check out our latest newsletter or go to the diary section to see what’s coming up soon.

Men’s Group – The Filling Station
Our men’s group meet every three weeks on a Wednesday evening in Starbuck’s Coffee Shop, upstairs in the red quadrant of the Metrocentre.
We’re building a ‘Band of Brothers’ and The Filling Station is the name we give to our Group of men who believe in the gospel of Jesus Christ.
We meet regularly to equip and encourage each other in our personal witness through studying the lives of real men, heroes from biblical times and lessons we can learn from them to apply to our lives today.
We are organising fund raising activities to support local charities, outreach events with men who have amazing life stories, social and leisure events and we actively support the work of the Church. Our aim is to win men for Christ and bring more influence of men back to bear on the life of the Church.
